AS&K Launches Two Web-based Paramedic Assessments to assist EMS Organizations:
The PACS & The PACK

AS&K, Inc., working closely with Stamford EMS, recently completed development of two web-based paramedic assessments to assist EMS organizations in the selection, development and performance evaluation of paramedics. The Paramedic Assessment of Critical Skills (PACS) enables managers, supervisors, paramedic job applicants or paramedics on your staff to rate skill mastery for seven sets of critical paramedic skills. Results are available online immediately. The Paramedic Assessment of Critical Knowledge (PACK) is administered in the same way as PACS but PACK is comprised of 17 categories of commonly required paramedic knowledge. Hiring managers can use the PACS or PACK Interview Guides to interview and then rate the job applicants on the same PACS skills or PACK knowledge that the job applicants rated.

The PACS and PACK are now available and were featured at the EMS Today JEMS Conference and Exhibition held in Baltimore, Maryland, March 2 - 6, 2010.

Here, in the spirit of innovative research, we are pleased to present the results of the Identity Impact Survey — a 2,000 person study across five industries — that quantifies the extraordinary influence organizational and individual identity strength have on business results.
